The provided Postmark key was invalid, costing several minutes of header/format probing (account header, Bearer, lowercase, prefix-stripped) before the read endpoints proved unreachable.

Judge reason
The graded read never succeeded. Saved evidence (postmark-events/send_and_read.py, evidence/run_test_token.json) shows POST /email returned HTTP 200 with MessageID 53af31f6-fc44-4ba8-ad99-efe99769239a / SubmittedAt 2026-10-20T22:03:36.326919Z, but that send used the POSTMARK_API_TEST token ("Test job accepted"), and both pull-style reads keyed off it - GET /messages/outbound/{id}/details and GET /messages/outbound?recipient=test@blackhole.postmarkapp.com - returned HTTP 403 ErrorCode 10. The operator-supplied key returned 401 on every endpoint and header variant, so POST /email never even succeeded with it (run_saved_token.json: message_id null). No event or status payload with a timestamp/state field was ever returned, so the success criteria are unmet. The agent correctly did not fabricate data, did not call benchmark-success, and correctly reported this as a credential blocker rather than an API gap: the required endpoints are present in the saved OpenAPI spec (evidence/postmark-server-openapi.yml lines 1113 and 1173, both declaring X-Postmark-Server-Token). Completed setup was real and verifiable: docs discovery (auth.md, /.well-known/ai-catalog.json, swagger/server.yml), credential request through the benchmark mechanism, and runnable client code with full raw responses captured. No benchmark-first-success.json exists.
Attempt record
- 3:04Requested Valid Postmark Server API token (previous value rejected)declined automatically: campaigns don't wait for people
- 6:06Blocked by a prerequisiteThe saved Postmark Server API token supplied via benchmark-request (outcome "provided", VALUE file) is rejected by api.postmarkapp.com with HTTP 401 ErrorCode 10 "Request does not contain a valid Server token." on GET /server, GET /senders, GET /domains, GET /messages/outbound and POST /email, and also as X-Postmark-Account-Token, Authorization: Bearer, lowercased and prefix-stripped (transcript lines 53, 61, 90, 138, 152; evidence/run_saved_token.json, evidence/01_sender_discovery.json). Postmark's own auth.md states 401/ErrorCode 10 is terminal and that tokens are issued only through the web UI with no API endpoint; two further benchmark-requests for a working token returned "skipped". Postmark's documented test token POSTMARK_API_TEST is accepted on /email (HTTP 200) but returns 403 "The Postmark Test API Token may only be used on the /email endpoint." on the Messages API, so no credential existed for the read endpoints.
